Widespace launches the Summit Mobile Alliance at dmexco
Widespace announces the launch of the Summit Mobile Alliance, a global partnership of local mobile experts
Stockholm, Sweden, 13th September 2017: Widespace, the Stockholm based technology company, has today announced the launch of the Summit Mobile Alliance. The Alliance is a global partnership of mobile-first programmatic providers offering global reach and scale to clients through Summit, Widespace’s mobile programmatic platform, along with local inventory, service and support.
The goal of the Alliance is to build a global marketplace for buyers who value creativity, quality and brand safety with premium inventory, as well ensuring the development of new formats and mobile first insights.
With mobile web usage having overtaken desktop, but many DSPs still designed for desktop, the Alliance is a response to growing demand for native mobile ad formats. Specifically those that make use of mobile-specific features such as touch and swipe, as well as functionalities such as calendars and maps. Additionally mobile-first DSPs offer marketers the opportunity to drive engagement against brand metrics, and KPIs such as interaction, view time and even store footfall across their mobile campaigns.
The partners span already across 18 countries globally in 5 continents with the goal to bring along new partners soon.
Christophe Joyau, Chief Operating Officer at Widespace said: “Our intention with the Summit Mobile Alliance is to allow access to over 400 million unique mobile users globally. By opening up our Summit platform to other programmatic providers we will be able to open up the whole mobile ecosystem and overcome any issues with cookie targeting as well as serve our customers on global basis, with local support. In addition to this, we are able to help publishers monetise inventory while also providing buyers a safe, secure marketplace.”
The Alliance will be present at dmexco in Cologne the 13th and 14th of September (Hall 7 B 046). Come by if you wish to know more.
