Widespace, the European leader in mobile advertising for brands, strengthens the digital advertising offer by announcing the appointment of Kenny Spångberg as Head of Programmatic.
Kenny Spångberg is considered a pioneer in advertising technology with more than 15 years of experience from companies like DoubleClick, Google, Eyewonder and Spongecell.
When entering this position, Kenny is expected to bring a unique mix of solution-based digital sales and a deep technical know-how to Widespace.
“I got to know Kenny in 2008 when he was heading up Eyewonder, a rich media company. I was always impressed by him, and I actually tried to recruit him to Widespace three years ago. This time around, we are a much bigger company, plus the European leader in mobile brand advertising, which gives Kenny quite an intriguing platform to start building on” says Toni Kaski, Chief Sales Officer at Widespace.
Appealed by the Widespace technology, as well as the possibility to expand the sales of programmatic solutions, Kenny recently joined the company.

In doing so, Widespace will continue to enable brands, media agencies, ad agencies and media publishers to create, buy and deliver advanced mobile campaigns across the top sites and apps throughout Europe.
