For the UK market, the following positions are open:

1: Head of Widespace UK and International Ad Sales – London, UK.
We believe you are an enthusiastic high performer currently selling digital advertising towards media agencies and large advertisers. You have a large personal network in the industry, and is interested in being a driving force in building a great sales team for the UK and international market in mobile advertising.

2: Senior Account Manager, Ad Sales – London, UK.
We believe you are high performing individual currently selling digital advertising towards media agencies and large advertisers. You have a large personal network in the industry, and want to be part of the excitement of a rapidly growing company and great development and career potential.

3: Business development, Publisher relations – London, UK.
A result oriented business developer with a high degree of autonomy, strong communication skills to focus on growing our premium publishers in the UK and Internationally. You have experience from digital advertising and preferably a network in the internet publishing industry.

About the candidates:
Candidates will be responsible for generating revenues by negotiating a broad range of mobile advertising deals with top-tier advertising agencies & mobile specific planning & buying specialists. A consultative selling style is desired. Candidates must feel comfortable prospecting, and negotiating in person and via phone on both transactional and high value/exposure deals.
An ability to identify, develop and manage a valuable prospect list based on the Widespace offerings is crucial. In addition to having excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and good follow-through, the ideal candidates will be self-motivated and highly goal-oriented in order to achieve ambitious targets.

 

 

Details for Head of Widespace UK and International Ad Sales – London, UK
Team/Department Mission
As part of the European Team you would report to the Group COO Henric Ehrenblad and focus on European campaign delivery, agency deployment and product development

Key Accountabilities
Driving major client pitches
Acting as a strong subject matter expert and evangelist and contributing to market visibility through industry events
Business performance responsibilities:
Driving to exceed mobile advertising P&L goals and path to profitability.
Plan and execute strategies in partnership with operations to grow client and supply base effectively and profitably.
Build and manage an active sales pipeline to ensure revenue targets are met
Present and sell all Widespace products.
Grow and deepen the agency relationships and your understanding of the clients and industries they service

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
The candidate should have an excellent track record and knowledge of Internet advertising and/or mobile advertising to step into a key position accelerating Widespace’s mobile advertising business.
The ideal candidate will have excellent business judgment and expertise in mobile advertising, online advertising, and/or mobile products and services. S/he will also have a strong track record of execution results, and the ability to lead key initiatives from incubation to scale. This is a high-impact, high-visibility opportunity to help build and scale a significant Global Business
1) Essential Experience
The ideal candidate should have media sales experience. S/he should have a deep understanding of online and mobile advertising products or other interactive media experience with an ideal emphasis on mobile.

3) Special Requirements/Additional Information
Relevant online advertising sales experience – familiarity and knowledge of the media landscape is   essential
Demonstrated ability to close sales and generate revenue.
Working knowledge of both PowerPoint & Excel
Ability to interact at all levels and presenting both over the phone and in person
For the UK positions, Fluency in English is required,
For the German positions English and German is required.
