Sucker Punch – 20th Century Fox

For the launch of the hit movie Sucker Punch, Twentieth Century Fox and the media agency Vizeum wanted to do something completely new and harness the power of the mobile channel – in particular the fact that almost 50% of users are surfing on mobile phones as entertainment.

Solution
With large full-screen in mobile applications and on mobile sites trapped man interests of users and then drove all clicks into a mobile landing page created by Widespace which, inter alia, could see the trailer, download wallpapers and above all booking cinema tickets.

“Sucker Punch is a very visual movie and we had material that we knew would take off very well in this environment,” said Mattias Lundin, Head of Marketing at Twentieth Century Fox in Sweden.

Results
The campaign’s ads had an average click-through rate that was approximately five times higher than the average campaign of “regular” web. This generated closer to 11 000 visits to the campaign page. “The results show that we had the right kind of thinking, and that the materials, media and the audience were in sync,” says Mattias Lundin
